So you have decided you want to become a mystery shopper! The job of mystery shoppers (aka secret shoppers) is to visit businesses, posing as customers, and gauge the service quality, cleanliness, etc. of the place. Business owners take the data that secret shoppers provide and use it as a tool to change weak areas of their business. Some businesses that use this function are shopping malls, movie theaters, banks, and salons. Mystery shoppers make fairly decent money performing the work, and they enjoy the added bonus of flexibility in working time.
